I have had 8 years experience teaching elementary school. I have taught grades 7, 5, 4, 2, 1 and am currently teaching kindergarten. Kindergarten teachers have a rare prospective on foundational skills needed to be a successful student.

My goals is always for a student's success. If what I am teaching is not being understood, I search for other ways to teach and connect the knowledge with the student.

I've taken college level biology and taught elementary science. I worked at an after school science program called Mad Science.

My strengths are in Language arts, grammar, reading, writing, and science. I am also very good at teaching test prep. strategies. I worked for 5 years at a low performing school and raised my students scores 24%. I have taught in diverse classes. I am very patient.
