About Leen

Bio

As a STEM major, math is my heart and soul! I have been tutoring people since elementary school but more recently centered my teaching around mathematics. Throughout high school, I have tutored people of all ages for ACT, SAT, and AP math classes. In some sessions, I work with students one-on-one, and others require me to teach online to hundreds of students across the country. As a STEM major, math is my heart and soul! I have been tutoring people since elementary school but more recently centered my teaching around mathematics. Throughout high school, I have tutored people of all ages for ACT, SAT, and AP math classes. In some sessions, I work with students one-on-one, and others require me to teach online to hundreds of students across the country. My most recent tutoring experience was with Fiveable, an AP community, as an AP Calc BC hostess!
While people may associate mathematics with headaches and low scores, I believe a deeper comprehension of the content leads to countless benefits from higher GPA to choosing a career. Therefore, I truly love teaching people math and helping students grasp difficult concepts. Needless to say, I want everyone to love math as much as I do, and the first step comes with comprehension.

My sophomore daughter hated math until she started tutoring with Leen. Leen is so clear, concise in explanations and so patient. After the end of the session she felt so much more confident and encouraged to tackle more challenging topics. She’s even looking forward to studying for SAT!

Prior to tutoring my high school Freshman has struggled with math. I would highly recommend Leen for any child's tutoring needs. She is very reliable and has been working extremely well with my daughter. She and my daughter connected instantly and have been having very positive tutoring sessions. She is extremely knowledgeable and has provided tips, and suggestions to simplify Algebra. Leen is very effective in communicating with my daughter. My daughter has a great new sense of confidence going into her exam this week.

My daughter met with Leen for the first time and loved her! She was very knowledgeable and patient while helping her with her problem set.
