Bio

Hi, I’m Peter! I am currently in graduate school pursuing a PhD in Biostatistics.

I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2018, majoring in computer science, math, and economics. Through my classes in college and graduate school, from computing classes to biology classes to math/stat classes, I have learned a lot about concepts, application, and coding. Hi, I’m Peter! I am currently in graduate school pursuing a PhD in Biostatistics.

I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2018, majoring in computer science, math, and economics. Through my classes in college and graduate school, from computing classes to biology classes to math/stat classes, I have learned a lot about concepts, application, and coding. I’ve also discovered various learning strategies that were helpful to me as a student. As a student, I enjoyed attending small group study sessions, and always found it helpful having material explained by another student who has learned the material.

I worked as a self-employed tutor during my last two years of undergraduate and tutored students in subjects such as calculus, statistics, and programming. I enjoy working together with students as well as helping them learn and achieve their goals. As a tutor, I hope to make learning enjoyable and also help elucidate any topics that you have questions about.

Finally, I have also been involved in interviewing medical school applicants, and would be happy to advise anyone interested or in the process of applying for medical school.

MS in Biostatistics: Best theory tutor I've ever had a session with

Peter is the only person out of many, many people that I contacted on Wyzant for help with biostatistics that was actually able to understand the level of stats theory /probability that I was studying. He's also so patient and kind, and explains things really well. Incredible with math and stats. We worked out of Casella and Berger, and he can literally do anything out of that book! He assigned me practice problems, helps me work on things for myself before he chimes in, and corrects my work when I go off the rails. He really knows what he's talking about. I've worked with him for months, and only with his help will I get through this MS program in Biostatistics. Thank you Peter!!!
