I believe that being a teacher is an integral part of my vocation. That is why I consider my contributions to the education of students not merely as a duty or as a job to be done, but as an important part of my life. Throughout my graduate studies, I have had various opportunities to join the industry, but teaching has often been one of the main reasons I have preferred to stay in academia. ‘Teaching’ encompasses not only what goes on inside the classroom, but rather all things that add to the students’ learning experience.
My teaching philosophy is not a static one, but a work in progress, developing as I gain experience and experiment with different methods and techniques. My views and reflections in this document are the outcomes of going through the process of learning and teaching at university as a student and professor for many years. I had the opportunity to be on both sides of our classroom desks for multiple courses, especially as part of the design curriculum in the Mechanical Engineering Department. I always tried to identify and remember the gaps that I noticed when I was a student, and later tried to patch them up for my own students when I was teaching
I have taught this course for more than 10 semesters in university and I am professional in teaching this course and programming bt Matlab:
