I am a certified public accountant with over 30 years of combined experience in for-profit, government, and non-profit industries. I have taught introductory accounting courses at the college and university level since 1999 and have served as an adjunct accounting instructor at Creighton University, Bellevue University and Bradley University. My non-accounting (general business) experience during my 25+ year career includes Director of Finance & Operations for a non-profit corporation (4 years), Director of Finance, Facilities & HR for a unit of local government (6 years) and a vice-president of a utility subsidiary, responsible for finance and operations of a power plant (3 years). The non-accounting duties in the above positions included logistics and operations for a delivery fleet, negotiations for real estate transactions, coordinating legal and human resources activities.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor.

Paul taught me about Stock Dividends and stock splits. I liked that he was patient and attentive to all my questions l. When I didn't understand something, he visually showed me on the white board with examples and worked with me. He also worked with my schedule. I was able to retain the information and was properly prepared for my exam.
