I am currently a pre-nursing student at St. Pete College. I graduated high school with my AA and only took Honors and AP classes when I wasn’t taking College courses. I originally started helping my orchestra teacher by tutoring the new students and helping them get to the level that the rest of the class was at. I also tutored elementary students who needed help with orchestra as well.

Whenever one of my friends needed help on homework or understanding something we were learning in class they would always come to me. We would go over my notes and figure it out. My mother is an special needs teacher and I have volunteered to work in her classroom many times especially with summer school when I had more free time. I have picked up many of her teaching methods which are very helpful for everyone not just her students.

My mother is an elementary school teacher and has been one for over 25 years. I have picked up many of her strategies that help her students learn the subjects she is teaching. I would like to go into pediatric nursing and am very good with children. I have taken developmental psychology which goes into different ways children acquire, develop and use knowledge.

I feel I would make a great Anatomy, Physiology, and Elementary science tutor because I have always been interested in science even as a little girl, most of not all of my classes are STEM classes, and I have experience with multiple doctors.

I am a classically trained violist who has been playing since the 5th grade. I was a part of an honors series that played at Carnegie Hall in 10th grade. Even though I play the viola, I can still tutor people trying to learn the violin. In high school I would volunteer to help my teacher by tutoring the students who were just starting out & holding practices to help everyone in my section.
