I am a professional Russian tutor with 15 years of experience in teaching Russian as a foreign language. I am native Russian speaker, graduated Tver State University and have MA in teaching the Russian language and literature. I offer private classes. All levels are welcome. Lessons are adjusted to student’s needs, levels and goals. Professionally designed curriculum My teaching approach usually contains of two different techniques: - Classic approach where teaching is based on the student’s native language. English will be used for explaining new grammar rules and vocabulary. This technique is appropriate for adult students at the very beginning of the teaching process when the students cannot understand Russian at all. - Communicative approach where the emphasis will be made on oral communication solely in Russian with using such activities as games, singing songs, creating dialogs between students, discussing various events etc. This technique is introduced gradually and becomes prevailing when the students already have a certain knowledge base in Russian language. At my lessons I often use various games, discussing news and events of public life, creating monologues to given topics etc. I try to teach my students all the essentials of Russian grammar and let them receive a vast vocabulary in the target language.
