I was a classroom teacher for over 30 years and I taught Pre-algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and General Math. I hold Bachelors and Masters degrees from Spalding University. I love when students finally understand what was puzzling them before. I preferred working one-on-one and have tutored in the past. I am very good at breaking down concepts to little steps - I have a blind brother, so I had to learn how to take tasks apart for him to understand.

I am told that I am a good listener and have a calming effect on people. I guess it is because I am very laid back and I do not talk much. I enjoy helping people learn.
