Amy is a brilliant tutor, she customizes her teaching for each student!
Kevin, 10 lessons with AmyAmy in just one hour, taught me how to do math problems that a college professor has taught the class twice and another tutor, I spent an hour with, attempted to teach me. She is a skilled, knowledgeable teacher who understands what one is stumbling over and she tailors her teaching so one 'gets it' I highly recommend her!
Hello,
I am a recipient of two "Teacher of the Year" awards and have been teaching and tutoring successfully for 20 years.
Although I specialize in Math and Science, I can help with a variety of subjects as well as with study skills. I worked hard to earn myself a Chemistry degree on a full academic scholarship to college, and I can help you with all of your tutoring needs.

Very Thankful
Amy is a very accommodating and supportive tutor. She is excellent at breaking down equations to a point where you can understand them and gives you the push you need to feel confident in solving any equation when stuck. Definitely would recommend her lessons for students who need the extra help and a better understanding of class material!

CAST test
Amy was extremely patient, knowledgeable and understanding. Although I’m not proud of it I have dyslexia and dyscalculia. Amy worked with me showing me different steps to achieve the answer and how to work through mathematical problems I never thought I could do. If I could give more then 5 stars I would. I highly recommend Amy as a tutor.

We discussed lab safety practices. We discussed when to use splash goggles compared to regular goggles, and when to use to gloves; and how to prevent the workbench from becoming a danger due to having things on it that should no be., We discussed the appropriately use of pipettes, and transporting chemicals and microscopes and discussed how to properly use other lab equipment, which is frequently taken for granted by less experienced lab workers, and can cause injury etc.
