He helped me convert my merge sort code in C, which used an array, to instead use a paired vector in C++98. Not only did we get through it extremely smoothly and ahead of schedule, but Daniel taught me new techniques. It's a breath of fresh air in comparison to a lot of other tutors out there (unfortunately).
