I love working with students, especially one on one. It is the whole reason I went into teaching! My years of experience have taught me how to break down tougher subjects for students and look at them in a different way. I have used many methods in my classroom including project based learning, discovery lessons and lessons involving manipulatives. I have lots of creative ways to approach teaching mathematics and would love to share them with you!

I tutored for the University of Oregon for 4 years until I began my teaching career. I worked at a project based art school for my first three years. I created math and science curriculum and even a Zombie Apocalypse class! After that I taught overseas in Morocco.

I have been tutoring math for over 10 years and teaching math as a certified teacher for 5 years. I have an undergraduate degree in mathematics and a graduate degree in teaching. My teaching license is current as well.

I look forward to meeting with you! I am pretty flexible on location, my personal favorite is local coffee shops but I am open to meeting elsewhere. I work during the day so tutoring sessions would have to occur after 5:00pm on weekdays. I only have about 5 hours available per week so contact me soon!
