I am a versatile and dedicated child advocate with a solid focus on the individual needs of students. I am kindhearted and empathetic, but most of all, I am flexible and accommodating in the design and implementation of inspiring hands-on lessons. I enjoy using music, videos, and employing wide-ranging resources to enhance learning. Students will feel comfortable in and confident in their abilities during our lessons. I desire to impart my love of learning to children to help them enjoy school and be successful.

In order to help kids as much as possible, I earned my Masters degree in Elementary Reading, I know, and research proves, that children MUST read on grade level by the 3rd grade to be able to meet the increasing demands of today's world. This ongoing challenge to all Americans is what motivates me each day to help students.

I have been teaching for over 10 years, and during this time I have found a special place in my heart for students with special needs. My certification in Special Education was just the beginning of my experience and I have spent a lot of time researching and developing first-class lessons designed with the individual in mind.

I have earned a Texas Educator Certificate that certifies that I have fulfilled requirements of state law and regulations of the State Board for Educator Certification. And that certification authorizes me to perform educational and academic related duties.
