Also, I completed one semester (Fall 2010) in the Women's and Gender Studies graduate program at the University of Northern Iowa. I received my MA degree in Psychology (with a specialization in Gender Diversity Studies) from Northcentral University in 2014.

While attending Northcentral University, I honed my writing skills even more, and I graduated with a GPA of 3.97. Therefore, I feel confident that I will be able to help others learn skills with regard to writing papers and essays.

My tutoring experience consists of tutoring one individual in Spanish over the course of two months. However, I have also helped friends edit their papers and theses. Furthermore, I am always trying to attain more skills with regard to being an effective tutor.

I received my BA degree in anthropology from the University of Northern Iowa in the Spring of 2010. While at UNI, I took courses pertaining to all four subfields of anthropology: linguistic anthropology, cultural anthropology, biological anthropology (e.g., Human Biological Variation), and archaeology (e.g., Mesoamerica and the Near East). Other courses that I took while at UNI include Anthropological Theory, Native Central and South America, and Psychological Anthropology. Also, Culture, Disease, and Healing focused on medical anthropology.

Religion

While at the University of Northern Iowa, I took undergraduate courses such as Women and Christianity, Gender in Cross-Cultural Perspective, and Modern European Women's History. I also took a course about Confucianism, Taoism, and Zen. Two of the graduate courses that I took while at UNI include Comparative Feminist Theories and U.S. Women's History. All of those courses touched upon religion (e.g., Christianity and other monotheistic religions such as Islam). Growing up, I participated in many Bible studies from a Christian perspective, but I have studied many polytheistic religions as well.
