I am currently working as a Chemist at Kluber Lubrication in Tyler, TX. I have a Master's degree in chemistry from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Lawrence University, WI. I have spent some time in industry working as a chemist at Chattem Chemical, Chattanooga and at the DuPont Experimental Station in Delaware as an Associate Investigator.

As a graduate student I taught a lab class every semester and also tutored one or two students during the course of the semester.

During my undergraduate years, I was a course content tutor for Chemistry and worked for the Center of Teaching and Learning at my university. I tutored from my sophomore year till I graduated. Though I mainly tutored on one-on-one basis, I also have experience in holding study sessions for several students at a time.

In my time working in Delaware, I also tutored a couple of elementary and high school students in Math and Chemistry.

I am very interactive in my tutoring approach. I strive to make my tutoring sessions very easy-going and relaxed.

The students I tutored all reported positive improvements as time went on.
