ESL/ESOL

I have five years of experience teaching English as a second language to high school children, and one year of giving tuition in it at adult level. My interaction with second language English speakers from nations such as Namibia and South Africa have refined this skill. I also served as an English Second Language Sub-Examiner in South Africa.
Grammar,

Grammar

My extensive schooling in English grammar at primary and high school level, including clause analysis, gave me a very good initial foundation in English grammar. The English Teaching Method courses I took during studies for a Higher Diploma in Education (South Africa) reinforced this foundation. Five years of English teaching experience at high school level were helpful to me in passing on the knowledge of correct grammar to students so as to assist them in developing their speaking and writing skills.
Latin,

Latin

I studied Latin for seven years in middle and high school. Then I took a one year course in Theological Latin through the University of South Africa. Though I have not taught Latin, I used my reading knowledge of Latin in my post-graduate studies of the writings of St. Augustine of Hippo to read some of his works in the original Latin. Today, I maintain a reading knowledge of Latin.
Proofreading

Proofreading

Proofreading is not only a necessary part of English Composition or Writing I taught for five years, but it is a skill which I have used throughout my life. My work as a minister of religion for twenty-one years has involved proofreading of service bulletins, newsletters, letters, sermons, articles, lectures and lessons. In addition, I wrote a thesis for my Master of Theology degree, and this necessitated proofreading.
