My name is Gunta. Unusual name? Yes, it is! That's because I come from a small country in Northern Europe - Latvia. I have loved Math as long as I can remember. My mom was very good at it and while helping me, she made it fun. In High School I was lucky to have a Math teacher who was very passionate and dedicated to his students. I graduated from the Latvia University with Masters degree in Math and Economics in 1983. After college I worked as a computer programmer and web designer. However, my real passion is working with kids. I have been HS Math Tutor in a small country school for several years now, and it is the best job!
My goal is to reach out to students who need help with Math, work together with parents to make sure everyone succeeds and all of us become the best we can be!
