I was also the Assistant Choreographer on the Fiddler on the Roof National Tour, Assistant Director for May We All: A New Country Musical at TPAC, and Associate Director for Cinderella at the Geva Theater Center.

I have 15 years of teaching experience and have guided my students through professional work, theater and TV/Film auditions, and college. My Musical Theater and Wellness Workshops have been hosted at schools around the country including University of Arizona, University of Utah, Emerson College, and Marymount Manhattan College.

My training and certifications include: BFA in Dance and BA in Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College, ABT® Teacher Training Intensive (Primary through Level 3), 200-hr Certified Yoga Teacher (LL Studio), Body Project Facilitator (National Eating Disorder Association), Trauma-Informed Yoga Training (Exhale to Inhale), Youth Protection Advocates in Dance® Safety & Wellness Certification.

I am the creator and host of The Story Project — a podcast for artists to heal through conversation. My guests have performed on Broadway, in the NBA, in dance companies, and countless renown regional theaters. I also have a Substack newsletter that comes out weekly with essay reflections, journaling prompts, and an update on all of my offerings.

I am extremely passionate about working with students on acting, musical theater, dance, writing, yoga, wellness, creative coaching, and everything in between. I’m so looking forward to connecting with you!

Theater

Theater

I began my performance career as the Dance Captain and Swing on the Fiddler on the Roof National Tour and later joined the team as the Assistant Choreographer. From here, I became the Assistant Director for May We All: A New Country Musical at TPAC, and the Associate Director for Cinderella at the Geva Theater Center. I have coached many performing artists for their auditions in both theater and TV/film and am full committed to helping my students achieve their goals and live their dreams.

Sports/Recreation

Ballet,

Ballet

In addition to being a professional dancer who was the Dance Captain on the Fiddler on the Roof Broadway National Tour and later became Assistant Choreographer, I have trained in ballet for 25 years and taught ballet for 15. I create a supportive environment whether you are a beginner looking to discover the joy of ballet, a student wanting to push themselves further, or a professional looking for a safe space to grow. With my BFA in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College's prestigious program and a certification to teach ballet through the American Ballet Theater, I help my students use ballet to serve their own needs and individual bodies rather than try to fit into ballet's standards!
Yoga

Yoga

Whether you are an athlete, artist, entrepreneur, homemaker, parent, doctor, or anything in between, you can better your personal and professional life through yoga! I am passionate about teaching yoga because it led me towards healing my autoimmune disease, allowed me to flourish in my career as a professional dancer, and generally supports my day-to-day life. I help my students: - Develop warm-ups and cool-downs for your unique body - Change, heal, and develop your relationship with your body + movement - Learning tools + techniques to take care of the mind and body - Deepen + explore your relationship with yourself

Amazing tutor

In one lesson Jessica helped my daughter tremendously with her technique and confidence. My daughter came out energized and raved about how sweet and nice Jessica was with her and how she can't wait to take more lessons with her (she had so much fun too!). At the end of the lesson, I received a summary from Jessica which will help us keep up with what she learned, and I thought this was extremely valuable. I highly recommend Jessica as a dance tutor and will be booking more lessons with her in the future!

Knowledgeable and flexible tutor!

I have greatly enjoyed my time with Jessica so far. I am a complete beginner to ballet, and I was impressed by how Jessica is very organized with her lessons. She lets me know what we will work on for the future, and uses a shared notebook so that we can both recap the lesson and share any ideas or thoughts we had during. I appreciate how she incorporates yoga and some other fun dancing activities at the end to loosen up my dance muscles :) excited for my third lesson!
