Hello! I'm a professional music teacher with a Master's degree offering private music help. I am patient, flexible and willing to spend time getting to know you and your personal goals. I have worked as a professional teacher of children and adults in the US, UK, and South Korea for over 12 years.

Hello! I'm a professional music teacher with a Master's degree offering private music help. I am patient, flexible and willing to spend time getting to know you and your personal goals. I have worked as a professional teacher of children and adults in the US, UK, and South Korea for over 12 years.

I have a Master's degree in Music Education and offer piano, guitar, trombone, and music theory lessons. I have studied and played piano since I was five, including training throughout my undergraduate music studies. I have also taught beginning guitar to children and adults for 2 years. I studied trombone as my primary instrument during college and was Principal Trombone of the Symphony of the Valley orchestra for two years. I have also worked as a professional band director, teaching a variety of music classes including concert and jazz ensembles, basketball/football/pep bands, non-traditional percussion, music theory, music appreciation, group piano and guitar.

*Piano, guitar, and trombone lessons are available in 30 min or 60 min sessions. Please note my pricing is listed by the hour - 30 min lessons are $20.

Lessons are available on a short-term or long-term basis and tailored to your individual goals and needs. I have years of experience working with adults and college students. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Really Great Tutor

My son is a music ed major at University of Kansas and was having problems with aural skills in his Music Theory II class. In the initial session Brittany was able to identify his problem and began providing helpful tools for him to improve his skills. She was very supportive and truly created an environment that allowed for open dialog regarding his concerns and worked to ensure she provided guidance that would allow him to improve if he used the tools she provided. Over the few months he worked with Brittany he learned a lot and finished the class with a B+. My son found her to be a great tutor. Really great experience!!

Very Helpful Tutor

My son, who did not have any problems in high school English, was struggling in college freshman English. Brittany was able to guide my son through the papers and projects assigned by his very difficult English professor. She was patient and available to help him as often as he needed. He will definitely use Brittany again if he is struggling again in English next semester.
