After graduating from high school, I enlisted in the U.S. Army as an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operator. I served for four years, during which time I was certified as a Paratrooper, received Secret and Top Secret clearances, and participated in multiple deployments. Following my honorable discharge, I attended the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University. I majored in History, concentrating on classical civilizations and literature, and minored in English Literature and Law in American Society. I graduated magna cum laude and authored a senior thesis that analyzes the goddess Venus in Rome during the first century B.C.E.

I have taught English for grades 6-12 and provided tutoring for the same grade levels. I have also tutored AP and college-level English courses and written several high school English courses. Literature is one of my passions, and I enjoy discussing the material with students. I have over ten years of experience editing essays, and I continue to perform this task on a daily basis.

I have taught History for grades 6-12 and provided tutoring for the same grade levels. History was my first academic passion and my major in college. From ancient to contemporary, I am well-versed in this discipline. I also have extensive experience with each of the AP History courses.

He is smart, patient, he knows the material very well, and for their most recent lesson, he adapted his teaching style to help my son learn the material in a different format, which is highly appreciated. John C taught me about the Cherokee's and how they had to leave their family to fight in the war that's why they have the title the "Trail of Tears". The Carpetbaggers were just people that traveled to the north to vote but really that name was a little racist to others, then they had the gold rush and the forty-niners, they got that name because either they started finding gold in 1849 or it was because 49 million people that was trying to find gold.
