I have played music all my life starting from rock bands, to Jazz band in college and eventually gave solo classical guitar recitals in concert halls. For the last twelve years, I have been working as a composer and producer making music for TV and multimedia.
I consider it my responsibility to teach and pass on what I have learned. All that is required is an eager student. Learning an instrument is like making a lifelong friend. If you enjoy playing your instrument, practice becomes fun and progress is easy.
I emphasize proper technique and a good understanding of music theory. I also encourage improvisation and feel it is a cornerstone in your development as a musician. I like to flow with the needs of the student and teach them the style or genre of music that they like.
