I would love to help! I have over nine years of experience working one on one with students from kindergarten to college.

I graduated from Assumption College with a 3.9 GPA in English Literature and a minor in Secondary Education, and I have a Masters degree in Special Education from Fitchburg State University. I am a nationally certified CRLA Master Level tutor and am certified in the Wilson Reading program. With a TOFL/TEFL certification and training from LVGW, I am especially qualified to work with English Language Learners on reading, writing, vocabulary, and accent modification.

I currently work as a writing tutor at Mount Wachusett Community College and a tutor for the Disability Services Center at Fitchburg State. I love working with adults and college students, and I also know exactly how to prepare a a high school student for college writing.

I look forward to helping you or your child gain the confidence and skills needed for academic success!

Helpful Tutor!

Stephanie was able to help me formulate ideas and structure for a lesson plan I had to submit for an SEI course. She was able to see things which I was able to see and provide a different way of thinking than mine.

Professional English Writing

I spent an hour with Stephanie, she's very nice and polite. She will listen to your needs and she is very honest with varying results. I am a non-traditional student and I am aiming for honors in college. She provided me with the tools I need to work on. I am excited to work with Stephanie again next week and see where I can improve in writing.

Comprehensive Tutoring

Stephanie is always prepared for her lessons with detailed lesson plans and particularly excelled in teaching English in a way that enabled our son to be more motivated to partake in learning this commonly underestimated subject. Our son is now more motivated to work harder and focus as the activities Stephanie plans and delivers are interactive and ultimately stimulate higher learning.
