Over the last five years, I've been incredibly fortunate to have helped dozens of students build their skills and become more confident photographers and videographers. Whether you're looking to learn basic camera controls, speed up your editing workflow or keep your digital files organized, my goal is to provide a relaxed, comfortable environment to answer your questions and help you succeed.

My love for photography first developed (no pun intended) going into college when a friend gave me an old DSLR. As soon as I flipped the "on" switch, I was hooked; I took photos of everything and everyone I could find, and I swear I must have worn out the shutter. The funny thing?

I was bad. Like... really bad.

I never took the camera out of auto mode, only used the biggest lens in the bag (because if it's the biggest lens it HAS to be the best), and generally made my decisions based on the wrong information.

None of that stopped me. I spent the next few years learning from experienced professionals who were generous enough to help me, and I hope I get the chance to do the same for you. I know firsthand how impactful a great instructor can be, and I look forward to providing lessons that are tailor-made to address your questions and help build your portfolio.
