Excellent Teaching

Madison does a great job providing challenging questions and rapid fire quizzes to help improve recall. Additionally, her test taking strategies improved how I triage questions to better narrow down my answers. Most importantly she does a great job of helping identify knowledge gaps, and provides content with multiple examples to fill the gap. She also draws your attention to the little details that most times you miss because it is an uncommon association not taught everywhere. Every session has helped me improve my test taking skills and diagnostic ability as a clinician.

Amazing Tutor

Madison was super helpful in my USMLE Step 2 journey. She was very quick to respond and let me steer the tutoring to what I needed. She sat with me and made a doable schedule and timetable that kept me on track. We met once a week and I always felt reassured of the information we covered after each session. We talked through questions on Amboss, went through rapid high yield topics for different organ systems, and wasn't bothered when I asked to go over basic murmurs 3 different times! I was able to jump 30+ points from my first practice exam and got a 240 in the end! My biggest takeaway is to definitely get a tutor for Step 2 but specifically get a tutor like Madison!

A Great USMLE Tutor!

I worked with Madison for about 8 weeks. We reviewed HY material for step 2-both discussing material and doing different practice questions for USMLE Step 2. She increased my score 32 points from when I had started at the beginning of my dedicated period. I ended up with a 245 (what I had been aiming for). I am so glad I decided to work with her-she helped me create a schedule and going into test day I felt confident!

I will start by saying I without any reservation recommend Madison to anyone looking to take their STEP studying to another level. She helped me identify bad habits, strategy flaws, knowledge deficiencies and poor test taking skills that resulted in a below average STEP1 score. She was patient and is an awesome teacher who spends a great deal of time making sure her students are satisfied and is very available if you have questions outside of tutoring sessions. What I liked most is that she was willing to adapt to my learning style instead of forcing me as a student to learn by her methods. Without her guidance and support, I’m not so sure I would have achieved MORE than my dream STEP2 score. Thank you Madison!
