Adobe InDesign

This was my preferred application of choice when creating anything graphic design-related throughout college. Unlike Illustrator or Photoshop, this program was designed and works best for page layout. It utilizes placeholder frames to hold objects created in other Adobe Suite software that don’t require rasterization of a vector or vectorization of a bitmap. It has very comprehensive text editing features such as: allowing for better control of leading and kerning of paragraphs, and easy insertion of Lorem Ipsum dummy text for quick proof-of-concept layouts. It also has MASSIVELY more comprehensive paragraph frames that allow for better flow of text between columns and pages. And in my experience, it does this much better than any other Adobe Suite software.

Drawing

I have been drawing most of my life, and I am quite good at replicating detail. I have sold drawings, done commission pieces, and it was my exceptional drawing and craftsmanship capabilities that got me through college. I have a solid understanding of anatomy as well as practice with various perspectives. I am also very well versed in computer rendered paintings and illustrations for my own leisure and interests as well as my work done on a few commissioned pieces.

I have a BS in Graphic Design from California University of PA. I have applied my skills for both perfessional use as well as my own personal use. I habe a solid understanding of much of the Adobe Creative Suite as well as other software such as Blender 3D, GIMP, Inkscape, Krita, etc.

Linux

Its been my primary OS since at least 2008. I have tried a few different flavors of Ubuntu (my first and current OS of choice) and its derivatives such as Linux Mint and Bohdi. I know the GUI's for Gnome, Cinnamon, MATE, KDE, and can find my way around several others across various distributions. I'm no expert at it, but I can also work my way around a terminal prompt. I have many, many hours invested in troubleshooting hardware compatibility, bugs, and general quirks that come with using this open source platform. I also have a solid grasp on IOS and run Android 8.1 (Oreo) on my smart phone.
