Contact me as much as you need and I won't get annoyed. I really mean that! My job is to remove every single obstacle in the path of your LSAT success! I function as a life coach, ensuring that my students have a positive attitude. I work to prevent test anxiety (which I myself struggled with) and to ensure that they are exercising, sleeping, and doing everything necessary to score their very best on test day.

My methodology focuses on 3 buckets necessary to turbocharge an LSAT score. The most foundational bucket is the skills bucket. I am an expert LSAT tutor and can explain complicated concepts clearly and easily to ensure that my students improve rapidly. I ensure that my students know how to properly diagram and approach each type of Logic Game. I emphasize the incredible importance of proper setup! In Logical Reasoning we develop the fundamental skills necessary to approach each question type. In Reading Comprehension I teach students how to break down the long complex passages. I work with them to focus on pulling out the key information (view points, passage structure, main point etc.) necessary to solve the questions.

The second bucket is time. I teach strategies to solve questions more efficiently. I also brainstorm with students to develop creative ways for them to solve questions more efficiently.

The third bucket is overall test performance. I function as a life coach. I fight for my students success and work with them every step of the way to remove any obstacle in their path.

A week before test day a friend was scoring a 163 on practice tests. I sat with him for an hour and was able to give him personalized techniques and strategies which resulted in him scoring a 166 on the actual LSAT. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction!

I am incredibly flexible with scheduling. I have worked with students throughout the process from beginning to end. If you don't know where to start I will guide you the whole way!

I am happy to get started ASAP or to have a free consultation to discuss more details.

After graduating from Columbia Law School and suffering through months of torturous studying for the UBE (Universal Bar Exam) I now guide students through the study process for the bar. I work with them to hone in on the key areas of study needed for success and help them avoid the pitfalls that I encountered during my own study process. I prepare students for the MBE section (the multiple choice) and the MEE section (the essays and MPT’s). I look forward to working with you to make this process as smooth as possible!

Brian was a wonderful LSAT tutor!

I had been studying for the LSAT for 4 months, but I worked with Brian to bring together core concepts in the final two weeks prior to my exam. Brian's help in the last two weeks exceeded all of my expectations. From general strategy recommendations to providing me with concrete ways to attack specific question types, Brian helped me solidify my studying habits, and even helped me improve my score by multiple points in such a short period of time. I would highly recommend Brian to any student at any stage of their LSAT studying - even at the late stage like I was. To be honest, though, I really wish I had started working with him sooner. It was truly a Five Star partnership.

He is great at explaining things and making sure you understand the concepts necessary to succeed in the LSAT! He also a wonderful motivating tutor who is always encouraging me even when studying may get challenging. I highly recommend working with him to improve LSAT scores!

Already feeling more comfortable with LSAT questions

I was a little skeptical because Brian's tutoring hours (with Wyzant) were few, but I felt great after our first session. He's clearly very comfortable with the material and makes sure that you are just as comfortable knowing why the right answer is correct and the others are wrong, and I already feel much more confident attacking LR questions (my greatest weakness in life) until our next meeting.
