Hello! I am an enthusiastic tutor who is ready to make goals and achieve them with my students. I am a teacher librarian and have worked in Washington, DC; Brasilia, Brazil; and now in Dover, Delaware. As a librarian, I get to work with students in all subjects and love teaching them, as well as learning from them, every day!

My experience with one on one tutoring has ranged from helping English Language Learners improve their English, history students learn and remember historical events, and English students enjoy literature and improve their writing. My favorite part about tutoring is helping students achieve their goals.

My undergrad degree is in American Studies, so I learned a vast knowledge of American history, economics, and literature. While obtaining my Master's degree in library science with a certificate in education, I learned the skills and techniques in teaching and learning. I particularly learned a lot about instructional design and customizing education for the student. I have also always worked in schools with a high ESL/ESOL population. When I lived in Brazil, I developed a love of helping students learn English. We had a lot of Brazilian students learning English at the school. It inspired me to take classes about teaching ESL students, and now I am on my journey to earn a TESOL certificate.
