I tutored at my college's math lab for 2 and half years and I loved every second of it. My college was very diverse, so I'd say I met with several different kinds of students with varying academic levels. I'm currently in grad school where I try to private tutor as often as I can. I enjoy the process of communicating mathematics to those who need an extra hand in grasping the concepts.

I've tutored high school students, college students, and adults revisiting old material. I've seen different kinds of universities coursework, professor ideologies, and student comprehension. I can typically expect what comes from a test question and I know how certain subjects unfold. Most of these areas of math seem intimidating, and I understand why, but I believe I can help those who need a hand in understanding the concepts. I've done one on one and group tutoring, whiteboards, chalkboards, paper and pen, and just talking through a difficult subject.

I prefer online tutoring at the moment. I use the Remarkable 2 tablet which is seen from my webcam which is very nice to use and eco-friendly. The benefit to this is once our session is complete I can send a pdf file of all the notes I had taken so the student can view them later. I can also record the sessions if the student prefers that too. I am eager to continue tutoring and helping those students who need it. I encourage anyone to reach out!
