I am a newly retired Colorado certified teacher in chemistry, environmental science, earth science and physical science. I have twelve years of experience. The reason I don't have more is that I served in the Navy for 22 years and was a Colorado conservation and wildlife officer for nine years.

Amazing Educator!
Lauren helped my high school son prepare for his semester chemistry final. She is much more than a tutor. She is an extremely knowledgeable educator. Her breadth of knowledge is amazing! She is not only incredibly knowledgeable in the field of science but truly is a gifted and talented teacher who has the ability to take a student's knowledge of a subject to a much greater level. My son not only enjoyed her working with him but recognized how much she helped him to greatly improve his knowledge and understanding of a subject he finds difficult. He looks forward to biweekly sessions with her in the next semester.

It was the first (introductory) lesson, but she seemed to know the material inside and out and have a good understanding on how best to study. We will see as we go forward how it all works out, but she appears to be highly experienced and in command of a variety of teaching methods.
