I have been working in an elementary school with a dual language immersion program for the past 15 years working with students from grades K - 5. My area of expertise in this position includes helping the students to master the sounds, blending, vocabulary, retelling the stories that they have read and the comprehension of the language.

In addition, I have tutored first and second year Spanish students at Portland Community College by assisting with homework completion, reading comprehension, writing and revision of essays, and conversational skills. I have good communication skills and patience with all levels.

I have also worked with adults on improving conversational skills in addition to writing and pronunciation.

My skills as a native speaker, in addition to my experience in education, offer a high level of academic Spanish. I am passionate about teaching and, can share not only the Spanish language but also the Latin culture.
