I am currently a Voice and Composition Major at UCSD. Last semester I had a composition for 2 flutes, trumpet, trombone, piano, and recital of a poem entitled 'As For the Coming of Autumn' performed for my Composition final. I was also chosen to sing in the Honors Recital.
I really enjoy sharing what I have learned, and having been through a slew of different teachers for each instrument and voice, I try to apply what works and eliminate what doesn't. My method is really rather straightforward: pay close attention to the individual student and ascertain their individual learning style, as well as their goals. From there, we move forward with customized lesson plans.
I have experience writing music for most of my life, and am currently majoring in Composition and Voice in college. I have been privately tutoring songwriting and composition for about 14 years now, and have my own personalized method.
