Have had 5 lessons so far with Boris and I have made great progress from speaking no Russian to being able to form sentences and make conversation. Boris is professional, punctual and flexible. I would recommend Boris to anyone looking to learn Russian. He puts effort and time into each lesson and cares about his students. Very pleased

Boris has a way of explaining things that make them stick. he finds good examples and analogies that show he has a deep understanding of language. If it weren’t for him I would’ve given up Russian long ago; instead, i am able to hold conversations with natives.

Boris has been virtually tutoring my high school-aged son in Russian since August of 2021. Initially it was one lesson per week, but my son was enjoying and getting so much out of each lesson, that they are now meeting 2x a week. Boris determined my son's level of Russian and provides various materials and exercises to patiently teach my son the intricacies of Russian grammar, while simultaneously working on improving his Russian vocabulary and pronunciation by chatting about a variety of topics. I am a Foreign Service officer who has been studying Russian off and on for twenty years. I have been required to use Russian as part of my regular work duties (the last time four years ago). In preparation for an upcoming assignment, I studied twice a week for about ten months with Boris. At the end of this period, I was able to score at the professional speaking, listening, and reading comprehension level in Russian across the board!
