Bio

I provide tutoring services to learners of all ages and in most academic areas. I am a certified teacher with a background in mathematics and psychology. I have taught for the Springfield Public School System, America Reads, TEAMS Tutors, The Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts, and Mad Science. In addition to teaching, I served as the Director of Education at Sylvan Learning of Raynham and The Director of Graduate Programs at The Princeton Review of Newton.

Melissa was a great fit for my son. She was very friendly, kind, professional, patient and my son really enjoyed working with her. Melissa was very quick to get back to me with any questions I had. My son felt more prepared taking the SAT after his tutoring sessions with Melissa. I feel that the price she charged per hour was more than fair. She made study guides and index cards for my son to take home and work on. I would recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a tutor. She is fantastic.
