The best I've seen...knows all...but down to earth

This guy is great. I have two college kids, one taking engineering and one taking calc. Jim knows every question in a variety of subjects. He is always ready to work. He's like the energizer bunny. His attitude is always upbeat and positive. For a guy who knows so much, he is very down to earth and interested. I recommend him to everyone. I've used other tutors...he's tops.

I contacted James for an emergency tutoring session same day for my daughter who had a Calculus test the next day and did not completely understand the material. James was very responsive and changed his schedule to accommodate a lesson with her and reviewed the fundamentals, She did get 90% on her test the next day.

I was very impressed with Jim's ability to bridge the gap between how "higher math" (calculus and beyond) is explained in formalistic textbooks, and how it needs to be understood to be used in the real world of science and engineering.

I have struggled with math my whole life and Dr. P gave me so much confidence after my first session. He was able to accurately assess my current knowledge/skill and we rapidly progressed.
