Very Knowledgeable, Kind, and Patient Tutor!

Julia is extremely good at explaining challenging topics in various ways by using real examples. She promotes a self-starting learning environment by helping her students feel empowered to make math decisions independently. Julia is very patient and is very detailed with her explanations. She will go step by step in each math problem until her students feel confident to try a problem on their own as well as performing the same steps on homework. Not only is she detailed, Julia is very organized and always has a plan for tutoring sessions plus homework assignments. Julia is a great tutor for anyone who does not feel confident in math, or is nervous working with a tutor. From personal experience, I have actually begun to understand and enjoy calculus as well as meeting with a tutor. Very satisfied!

Helpful and Detailed Tutor

I have been working with Julia for the last few weeks in my Engineering Economics class. She has been very helpful, giving detailed explanations to help me better understand the topics I am working on. She even took the time outside of our session to study my class slides and came to the next session with a strong understanding of the concepts I am working on so she could better prepare me for my exam.
