My tutoring method is to help students develop a fundamental understanding that can be applied to concepts they are learning in their respective fields. During my tutoring sessions, I provide a safe space for learning and ask questions to discover how I can help my students develop learning and overcome their fears or misunderstandings. When students can describe their problem accurately, they are close to arriving at the solution already.

I have about two years of experience working as an aerothermal engineer in the aerospace gas turbine industry. I have a Ph.D. in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, USA. I also have two Masters degrees in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. I completed the Kumon math program and subsequently tutored at Kumon Math & Reading Center as a Teaching Assistant for four years. I also have mathematics tutoring experience at the college level for about 1.5 years, and I volunteered as a Math tutor at the middle school level for about 5 years.
