I was educated in top rated Michigan schools, and I am university trained. I have studied vocal and instrumental music, French and speech, extensively.

Some of my related experience includes: choir and private lessons teacher at the Blackwell Institute; orchestra teacher at the Laurus Academy; in-school director at the Detroit Children's Choir; and the Music Director at the Annual Adopt-A-Child at Cobo Hall.

I was also on the Music Staff at the International Pentecostal Young People's Union, Texas State Youth and Women, Northern District Council General and Women's Music Director; and Founder and Conductor, and The Temple Musicians Youth Orchestra.

I love to help students excel, and teach both in person and online. I was included in a group of students in middle school that was saturated with the French language for three years, followed by another three years in high school, and more training in college. I teach French one on one, and teach music to French-speaking students via Skype, etc.

I am a continuous student of the English language, and have extensive public speaking experience, including seminars, workshops, conferences, and revivals in several different states in the US.

I have played piano for many years, and consider the organ to be my main instrument of choice. I have been privileged to play In variety of genres and venues. I have recorded as a soloist and with groups, and have vast experience teaching a variety of singing styles and techniques.

I love to be flexible with my students, always taking into consideration the schedule. In addition, it is always a pleasure to make sure that the students personal preferences and individual needs are met.

Excellent Encouraging Teacher

Glenda is a knowledgeable and excellent teacher. She is supportive and encouraging and makes difficult concepts and tasks seem easier. Her broad musical background and experience seem to give her a practicality and ability to understand exactly what you’re looking to accomplish and how to get you there. - In my case much more quickly than I expected. I highly recommend her!
