Mom of two adult children now looking to help other students succeed in middle- and high-school American French classes. Will work calmly and patiently to help navigate each student's unique challenges, using compassion, kindness and a fun approach to learning. Prior experience teaching in secondary classrooms, both middle and high school levels, that focussed on reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. I know a top stressor for students is "speaking" French and I can help make the process less stressful. For instance, I can teach students to use simple sentence structures they can rely on to succeed in their classes.
I am currently in a teaching certification program for secondary French and recently founded a YouTube channel using LEGO to help teach essential grammar to secondary students. I love working with secondary students. I find I learn as much from them as they do from me.
