About Jennie

Bio

I have a Certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Rutgers University (PALS). In my 10 years of teaching I have taught and tutored ESL to students of all ages in Morocco, in the United States, and online. I have also tutored for college-level intensive writing courses.
As a teacher I aim to provide a safe environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, and making mistakes and discoveries. I especially enjoy teaching about effective writing strategies for...

In my free time I volunteer at the local Boys & Girls Club after school homework help program where I coach elementary and middle school students on their homework assignments, or better yet, sometimes we'll just enjoy a good story together!
