My strength is knowing what gaps and holes need to be filled in a student’s math toolbox. This is my 20th year teaching. I was not a strong middle school student which has given me empathy for struggling students. I understand the feelings of frustration and am well versed in turning those feelings into positive baby steps forward.
I am certified through 9th grade math, and I love algebra. During my tutoring sessions I will be focused on the long game of making sure the foundational skills being taught will prepare the student for future math classes.
