I am passionate about helping others to understand challenging concepts and nurture their potential as they aim to succeed in their academic pursuits. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Anthropology from Brown University. I earned my Master of Bioethics from Harvard Medical School, and have since returned as a medical student. As a student of the sciences and humanities, I understand what it takes to excel in a multitude of disciplines, with specialization primarily in biology and writing.

I have several years of teaching experience in various capacities for students of all ages. I have tutored elementary and middle school students in reading, writing, math, and science. At Brown, I was an Immunology Teaching Assistant. I prepared weekly lesson plans to clarify difficult concepts and held office hours where I worked with students one-on-one to address their questions. I have also tutored adult learners towards their primary goal of improving English language proficiency through both literacy and writing competencies. The kindness and gratitude that I have received from those I have taught has deepened my passion for working with students who are wanting to further understand critical subjects in school or seeking guidance as they are applying for their next step in education.
