I am passionate about students possessing the basic fundamental skills in elementary school in order for them to obtain their goals with the least amount of struggle. Educational success is my goal for every student. Missed getting the basics? I can help with that! Just starting to read or understand numbers or math? I can help with that. Together, the student and I can build a strong foundation of knowledge that prepares them for their future.

As a tutor, I work to gain insight into the area of need, how the student best learns new material, and then reinforce what is learned until it is mastered.

During my twenty-nine years as a classroom teacher, I have taught from the pre-school to the college level. I have been Principal of two different schools. I have also kept up with current educational concerns and know the requirements for graduation.

I am honest about my abilities and will strive to give your student every opportunity to excel.
