Before I found Sebastian, I had already failed the Series 7 my first try. I had prepared for it with a different tutor who thought I was ready and was going to pass and instead I failed, was devastated, and I never heard from that tutor again. He didn't even wish me luck the day before or day of, so it was clearly transactional. I was down, depressed, embarrassed for failing, afraid for my job, a roller coaster of feelings. Then I found Sebastian, and after the first session, already noticed a big difference. His approach was better, and he was actually TEACHING me - not just having me go through practice questions. I felt like I was in a virtual classroom actually being taught and learning, which is exactly what I needed. Also he was very genuine in wanting to help me pass and strongly believed he could get me there - which in turn, helped me feel like I could get there too. He is more than a tutor: he helped to put life back in me, built up my confidence, showed me really great and helpful test-taking/question-deciphering tips, and worked on the subjects I needed improvement on the most. He was very thoughtful in giving me the pep talk I needed before the test, and texted me the day before the test with a very encouraging and positive message. I was super nervous the day of the test but I PASSED! I could not wait to call my husband, boss and Sebastian and tell him the news, and he was truly so happy for me. Thanks to him I am finally done with the Series 7 exam and can get on with my job. Amazing, knowledgable tutor

Sebastian was such a great tutor. After failing the series 7 exam twice, he was able to help me pass on the third try. He taught me how to think like an examiner and taught me how to break down each and every question to see what actually makes sense versus what sounds made up. One of my biggest issues was being so stressed and anxious, and Sebastian definitely helped me gain so much confidence in myself. He was not only an amazing tutor, but he was also my biggest cheerleader. I decided to try to pass my series 66 exam on my own and yet failed twice just like the 7. I came back to Sebastian right before my third attempt, and he not only helped me pass again but helped me believe in myself. SIE Exam help

Sebastian is amazing at what he does. He simplifies terms for learners to understand. I failed my SIE the first time and then after going to Sebastian I passed and it only took me 55 minutes to complete the exam this time!!

I failed the SIE my first two attempts by just a few questions and was so down about it. I had one shot left and 2wks prior to my 3rd attempt I had a session with Sebastian. He was kind, insightful and direct (which I needed and appreciate). I took my final attempt today after studying more using his tips and information we wenyt over and I am beyond happy to report I have passed my SIE! Huge Help Passing the Series 7!

Sebastian was able to build on the material I’ve learned throughout my studies and add extra value and information to help me pass the Series 7. He also provided very helpful tips on how to break down a question that I either had no idea what they were asking or never seen before. Series 7

Sebastian was amazing! Very personable, funny, and just all-around fun to engage with! He broke down concepts and never made me feel like I couldn't understand the topics we reviewed! I feel confident that with his help, I can pass my exams! He was so very thorough with explanations, but more importantly, he saw weak points and just deep dove into making me understand through real-life examples so the concept would stick rather than pointing out those weak points! This made me super comfortable with his guidance!! I 100% recommend him!!

Excels at sample scenarios and hands on approach.

I spent my time with Sebastian with him tutoring me on stock options, primarily different calculations related to straddles, spreads and leverage against a stock position. If you are studying with STC (which I am) his approach focuses on the graphical/visual approach and collaborative whiteboarding as opposed to the T chart Debit/Credit columns. The book touches on this approach a little bit but not a lot. He was very hands on, enthusiastic and made the lesson time fun. I'm planning to have additional sessions with Sebastian to build on what I've learned so far.

Sebastian has helped to me pass both my SIE and recently my Series 7. The Series 7 exam was much more difficult than the SIE and it took me a couple attempts to pass the SIE. Even though I had been studying on my own for several months using a test course I was still unsure if I was actually ready or not. Sebastian helped go over any topic and gave me confidence and assurance that I was ready to take the test. He gave me new and better ways to understand topics that I wasn't 100% on and this allowed me to pass my Series 7 on my first attempt. I recommend Sebastian to anyone who is taking any top off exams and also really enjoy talking to him.
