Over 20 years professional touring bassist and two decades of professional music teaching . BA in Music and active teaching credentials for public schools. I have retired from teaching music in public schools and exclusively teach private again. Will only take on students who are dedicated to improvement and will practice. Master bassist, guitar teacher and trumpet teacher as well. Teaches all instruments but especially interested in teaching up and coming bassists and lead guitar players...

I attained my BA Degree, in Music, with Ear Training 1,2,3, and 4 as part of the curricula.

I have taught over 10 years of classroom general music in California schools and Washington schools while strictly following the national education standards for general music.
Guitar,

Guitar

As a private guitar teacher I have taught well over 200 students many of which have gone on to make music a career. I have tough guitar in large group and private 1:1 situations for over 10 years in class and over 20 years as private teacher.
Songwriting,

Songwriting

I have 7 albums out with my band North Star, a prog rock band from Phila. 4 of our albums are labels around the world. I was one of the main song writers in the band. I have also taught songwriting for over ten years in the high school classroom setting.
Trumpet

Trumpet

I have been playing trumpet since the age of 8. Trumpet was my chosen main instrument for attaining my college degree. I have professional performed with world famous musicians as a brass section member and jazz soloist. I have performed in stage multiple times with Frank Zappa alumni band (project object) Vince Welnick (Grateful Dead, tubes), Clark Terry big band (2nd trumpet) and several less known big bands as 2nd orc 3rd chair. I have been a performing member of Shasta symphony and Humboldt symphony.
