I am a college and graduate school professor with a PhD and three masters degrees. I work at the rank of full professor at a private liberal arts college, with religion as my primary discipline. I have 20 years of teaching experience and students consistently rate me as one of their most understanding and kind professors. I have published two books of my own and numerous academic articles.

I offer tutoring services in addition to my work as a professor in order to give myself flexible work hours while I’m raising my children. While I enjoy helping children learn, and am happy to work with teens, my ideal tutoring students are adults of any age, especially college and graduate students. I also have experience working with students and peers who are highly sensitive, intellectually intense, and/or neurodiverse. I welcome you to reach out to me.

I especially enjoy helping students who are English Language Learners succeed! In graduate school, I worked for the International Students office as a writing tutor for English Language Learners pursuing their masters degrees. I am happy to help you express yourself clearly in English writing or public speaking.
