About Nikita

Bio

I graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. degree in Anthropology and am currently working as an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner. I have successfully passed the Middle School Math Teacher Certification Exam, and am available to tutor in Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, SAT Math, and English grammar, along with other subjects.

I was chosen from my grade to attend multiple math competitions around the state and was given the math award multiple times throughout high school. I also received 5's (highest score possible) on multiple AP exams, including AP Calculus, showing that I excelled in math while growing up. I have been the editor of various national newsletters for youth groups, and, therefore, have the knowledge of proofreading and English grammar to be able to help in those areas as well! Growing up, I learned Hindi through my Sunday School organization and received the end of the year 1st place award multiple times. Ever since then, I have taught Hindi at the same local Sunday School organization on a weekly basis for two years. This includes teaching children how to read, write, and speak Hindi and be able to make fluent conversation with other Hindi speakers. I have made examinations to test the Hindi skills that these students have learned and have substituted Hindi classes at this organization for many years.

Wonderful tutor! Nikita has helped my daughter gain greater confidence in her math skills.
