I'm Hannah, and I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and ESOL from McPherson College. I have always had the desire to teach and tutor and love using my skills and passion for learning to help equip students with the tools they need to become life-long learners.

I have over 10 years of tutoring experience in elementary school, high school, and college. I tutor reading, phonics, math, Algebra, Geometry, Geography, and writing. I have 8 years of teaching experience during which I have worked with a wide variety of students and families and have learned how to tailor learning to each student's strengths and weaknesses. In my experience the best part of tutoring and teaching is when students have a "lightbulb moment" and finally unlock the task, knowledge, or skill they have been working towards. I love working hard with students and rewarding their hard work with a fun activity or learning game to strengthen skills.

I believe that partnering with parents and families is the best way to help children succeed.
