Bio

I live in the East Bay where I work as a Teacher Assistant. I have certificates in Lay Leadership/Ministry and in Literacy Coaching. I free lance as a writer, also; writing is a great passion of mine.

I want to tutor because I feel that we all need support at times. I want people to receive joy when they know 'I can do this'! This realization gives me joy!

In addition to loving Jesus and wanting to serve the Lord, I really appreciate music. I sing in choruses and I will be relearning...

I really enjoy the English language. I have vast experience in studying English, working as a reporter and as a writer. I am certified by the Rhode Island Department of Education, as a Teacher Assistant. As a TA, I have worked with students in grades K - 5 on a one - to - one basis, and in small groups on reading and writing. Pronunciation and vocabulary were the strong areas I coached my Literacy students in.

I was not only a student, but I was part of the administrative team. My supervisor was Reverend Lucille Russo, the Pastor of Oasis of Grace Church, 464 Silver Spring Street, Providence, Rhode Island. Pastor Russo was the program coordinator. I still work for Pastor Lucille. I actively attend bible studies and Sunday services reglarly.
