Hello! My name is Taylor, and I am a knowledgeable, charismatic, and passionate tutor! I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Dartmouth College, with a double major in Economics and Anthropology. I subsequently worked as an investment banker in New York City for several years. Prior to and during my time at Dartmouth, I worked extensively as a tutor in subjects ranging from basic math and science all the way to more complex subjects like statistics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics.

What I love about tutoring is the ability to help students to reach their fullest potential - and to both challenge and support them in that process. My approach to tutoring is to first get a grasp on the learning styles of the individuals I work with. After all, if I am not communicating or explaining concepts in a way that my students understand best / most efficiently, then I am not doing my job right! Once this is established, I like to work systematically. We will focus on the areas where they are having trouble, and ensure that they have a solid understanding of the foundational concepts, before moving onto more complex areas.

Overall, I am very passionate both as a tutor and as a person! I strongly believe that having the right support, particularly in academic settings, really allows us to maximize our potential. I believe learning should be fun, and I believe that learning never stops - no matter what points we are at in our lives. I look forward to the opportunity to work together!
