As a teacher, tutor and former Director of a Learning Center, my first and most important role is to pass on a love of learning to my students! Learning should be inspiring, engaging and creative.

As I work with my students, I look for their particular learning styles and tutor by utilizing their strengths. Each student is unique and each can succeed - given the right tools.

Today there are many ways to teach/learn using a little imagination! As I teach, I encourage my students to think critically and strategically - outside the box of a textbook so that they understand the material (not just memorize it). I look for opportunities to encourage them in character and strive get them excited about the challenge before them. As a strong motivator and experienced tutor, my relationship with my students is paramount to my success.

In working with students for more than 15 years, and with a Master's Degree in Education, I have taught Elementary through high school ages, all subjects and understand how students learn. I also offer SAT/ACT prep tutoring and classes.

I am flexible with scheduling and allow for make up sessions with a 12 hour cancellation notice.
