I am a retired English teacher who knows AP, college-level literature and composition and my test prep students average significant increases (5pts+ ACT) IN any language area test. I am solid in SSAT and ISEE including math, but really focus on verbal. I have edited master's theses in MLA and APA formats as well as numerous other graduate level papers in the areas of nursing, engineering and business. I hike, write, do yoga, read and garden when I'm not engaged helping students. I aim my energy at getting the best thinking and product from those whom I tutor.

Changed my life

I have started considering the idea of boarding school since the Fall of 2023. Applications required various materials such as current school grades, achievements, etc., but it also demanded an essay and your SSAT result. Patrick has helped me throughout the process from start to finish, giving me tips on the SSAT questions (primarily English) and gave me amazing strategies to maximize my result. From a 66th percentile, it skyrocketed to a 91st percentile within two months, and I am very thankful to him for helping me get this big leap.
